About Remote Dosimetry Services
RDS combines a full-time dedicated staff with the latest technology to provide you with quality dosimetry services personalized for your cancer center’s needs. We can provide you with everything from temporary remote planning coverage to a complete set of services designed from the ground up. Our personal service is what sets RDS apart from other providers.
RDS was organized ten years ago to help a single cancer center which needed a dosimetrist, but could not get one to relocate to the center’s relatively rural location. Instead, the center was paying a locum dosimetrist to provide the services at considerable cost and inconvenience. By providing remote dosimetry services to this treatment center, RDS drastically lowered the center’s expenses, while providing high quality care that was readily available. When the founders of RDS saw how well remote services worked for this center, they knew the idea could be applied to other cancer centers as well.
RDS is an excellent choice for meeting your patients’ needs while saving your center money. In fact, every one of our current clients is making a profit from their dosimetry services. Our fee schedule is based on a negotiated percentage of Medicare allotments. Our clients are able to generate fees without the headaches of administration that go with providing dosimetry coverage.
